The situation of women on EU islands.
The report presents an assessment of the situation of women in 15 EU island regions in Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Finland, based mainly on a detailed examination of the latest available statistics. The central question addressed is whether women living in these island regions are disadvantaged in particular aspects of their lives both in relation to men in the regions and in relation to women in mainland regions and if so in what ways.
